Meet Dr. John Norian

Dr. John Norian - HRC Fertility Rancho CucamongaDr. John Norian of HRC Fertility Rancho Cucamonga is passionate about helping women and men achieve their goals of family building.  His expertise includes IVF, IVF with donor oocytes, and gestational surrogacy. He is a board certified in Obstetrics, Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Successful fertility treatments involve a high level of scientific knowledge, an advanced embryology lab, and also the ability to warmly develop and carry out a patient-centered treatment plan. Dr. Norian received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine program in New York and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Norian is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of California at Riverside, School of Medicine and at Western University of the Health Sciences.

Dr. Norian has authored over 25 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters focusing on reproductive biology and infertility.  He has earned numerous distinctions and awards throughout his career.  Several of his often cited articles have helped to broaden our scientific understanding and have guided clinical care. 

When in fellowship at the NIH, Dr. Norian was a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Public Health Service and had the privilege of providing care for military families.  He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.  He is a member of the Cade Foundation’s Advisory Council which supports families battling infertility. 

Dr. Norian is fluent in medical Spanish and his interests include long distance running, reading and enjoying time in the outdoors with his family.

Areas of Research and Publication

Dr. Norian’s research interest includes all aspects of reproductive medicine including: in vitro fertilization, optimal treatment for low responders, egg freezing, gestational surrogacy, the use of donor sperm and egg donation in assisted reproduction, uterine fibroids, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and pre-genetic screening for genetic disease and gender selection. He has a keen interest in nutrition’s impact upon fertility. Dr. Norian has authored over 25 original peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters focusing on reproductive biology and infertility and has presented numerous abstracts at national and international meetings.
